Auriculotherapy

This weekend we will be offering auriculotherapy at our wellness fair! 

​What is auriculotherapy?
Auriculotherapy is the stimulation of specific points on the ear to induce a a therapeutic response in another area of the body. 

How does auriculotherapy work?
Auriculotherapy utilizes ear seeds to stimulate specific points within the ear to create an effect somewhere else in the body. Similar to when you get a reflex on your knee when it is tapped, ear seeds can create a symbiotic effect within your body.

The ear seeds have a time-release effect and stimulate points with light pressure for long periods. Ear seeds can be typically left on for no more than three days. The ear seeds are from the vaccaria plant which is primarily grown in China.
