Active Release
Stretching and strengthening muscles is the key component to rehabilitation. Even more important is focusing on the correct musculature and cause of the pain. We specialize in locating and resolving the cause of the pain and bringing the muscle back to full functionality. With the use of muscle release techniques, we can find and restore normal joint motion.
Kinesiology Strapping
Kinesiology strapping is utilized by athletes to facilitate quicker healing from injuries as well as prevent fatigue while participating in athletic events. The tape is latex free and is applied directly to the skin. The tape may be used for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, elbow tendonitis, rotator cuff pain, thigh and calf support, and knee pain.
Deep Tissue/ Soft Tissue protocols
Deep tissue injuries are well documented to be the cause or exacerbate chronic pain. We have a wide range of techniques to help alleviate pain that is caused by neuromuscular complications.
Myofascial Release
Between the layer of muscle and skin there is a layer of fibrous connective tissue called fascia. Through rigorous physical activity and injury, the body develops myofascial adhesions (scar tissue). This is tough tissue that replaces or builds upon muscle and may decrease normal joint movement. Research has found this technique to be most beneficial for neck and low back pain.
